Basking Ridge Country Club Catering
I have completed my internship with Backing Ridge Country Club Catering.
I took this internship as a step toward graduation and my career. Event planning was something I'd always wanted to experience and something that struck an interest with me.
During this internship some of my responsibilities were:
Help finalize and distribute the weekly catering sales packet.
Shadow sales representatives on wedding tours and client appointments.
Trained in Catereese software
Entered payments, generated new contacts and created contracts for each event
Personalize menu cards and sings for each event
Through this opportunity, I had the ability to work hands on with events of different sizes. I was able to experience the day of events to help with last minute changes or situations. I shadowed my managers on tours to learn the facility and amenities of our banquet space. I worked closely with the catering staff, learning basic banquet skills.
