Let's be honest, if you aren't a person who LOVES working out, you most likely HATE working out.
MY STORY* I recently realized that I am in really bad shape. This realization came to me when I felt horrible in all my clothes. It was time for change. I decided I needed to diet. Since the gym is not like Dunkin' Donuts and I just can not motivate myself to go, I started my Lazy Girl Diet!
Instead of not enjoying my life because I am on a diet, I decided to just do the minimal to make myself feel better. Here is my Lazy Girl Diet.
1. Eat a small and healthy breakfast
To me this consists of a fruit smoothie with a granola bar, yogurt or banana pancakes.
2. Eat a light lunch
My work is attached to a restaurant so I tend to eat salads every day. This can also be a proportional meal.
3. Proportion dinner
I feel that since I ate healthy for breakfast and lunch, I can splurge on dinner. I just watch my portion sizes but I don't leave the table feeling hungry still
4. TV workouts
Pick 1 episode of TV to watch each night. Make it a show you are really interested in so working out is easier. During each commercial break, chose a workout to complete.
My Commercial Workouts:
- Commercial 1: 50 Squats
- Commercial 2: 50 Crunches
- Commercial 3: 30 second plank, 15 second rest, Repeat
- Commercial 4: 20 leg raises
- Commercial 5: Jumping jacks
At the end of the night, you will feel so accomplished. Even though this workout is anything crazy. Comment your lazy girl diet tips!
