Hey everyone!! Welcome back. If you follow me on social media, you may have realized that I have transitioned into my new job and have finished my training period.

I have upgraded my 10x10 office (shared with my 2 bosses, a printer and a filing cabinet) to having my OWN cubicle.

If anyone knows me, you know I can't leave this all-grey cubicle plain. I need to add my touch to it and make it feel like home. Spending 40+ hours in your cubicle a week, don't be afraid to add your personal touch.

Organization is key in a work environment! Use your space wisely and get the most out of a small desk space. If you are a company that is mainly paper based, consider adding extra storage like a filing cabinet or hanging file holders.

For on desk organization, use a compacted, multi-function storage unit. This will allow you to keep many different desk objects in one place. Some of these can be quite large, if you have limited space, consider getting smaller pieces that come in a set. This will give you more options to move things around and find the best place for each item.

Personalizing your cube could take up some space. If your desk is limited on space, try to use the walls or shelves to add a piece of yourself.

1. Add photos of your family, friends, significant other or pet!

2. Incorporate your favorite things. Personally I am a flower child, I love all things fresh and flowery. On my cubicle, I added a vase of flowers along with a small succulent. If your a total Disney person, add some cute mickey ears or a souvenir of your favorite Disney character. If you love Paris, incorporate a statue of the Eiffel tower!

3. Add cute saying or quotes to help you get through the day.

Cubicles can often look crowded and a bit messy. To help with this, coordinate colors among your things. This will make the overpopulated space look like it was all planned out.

Here is a glimpse at my before and after shots of my desk. Starting in April, I was feeling the bright and happy colors.

1. Photos of my friends, family, boyfriend and rabbit.

2. A small storage. My company is mostly paperless so I do not have much need for a large storage unit on my desk. I keep this small pen and pencil holder (that is actually a makeup holder for vanity. Find it HERE).

3. Weekly planner to help myself remember what to do for the week.

4. Coasters. I hate when my drinks leave a water mark on my desk.

5. My lunch box. This lunch box is from Thirty-One. Find a similar one HERE.

6. Happy saying that will motivate me through the long days.

7. CHEAT SHEETS! I have an insane amount of cheat sheets hanging in my cubicle. I have dedicated an entire wall to them. They are easy to reference when hanging up and I always double check them before doing something important.

8. A monthly calendar that has all of my PTO, vacation and holidays marked for quick reference.

9. (Not Pictured) Flowers. I have not gotten around to making a flower arrangement for my desk but I plan on making one soon to keep on my desk.
