Can You Tell?: Duster Cardigan

This is a new type of post that I like to call "Can You Tell". I will be looking at expensive or designer trends and finding comparison pieces that are in a cheaper price range! Coming out of college, saving money is key. And lets face it, not going shopping is hard! In order to look trendy, get your shopping fix and save money, finding comparable clothes at a cheaper price works best!

This week I am going to look at one of my favorite fall trends: Duster Cardigans.

A Duster Cardigan is a knee length or longer open cardigan.

When online shopping a came across this cute and trendy dark heather grey, knee length duster from Bloomingdale. This sweater is priced at $119.00.

I found a comparable duster in a lighter heather grey at Charming Charlies for only $29.00. I actually bought this piece and love to pare it with a black denim jean and a tucked in plain white tank top. This creates a look that can be dressed down or dressed up. As the weather gets colder I will add knit scarfs and cute pom-pom hats with this look!
